I have always loved storytelling. During my early years in grade school, even when I could barely read, I would hang onto every word of the stories that my teachers would read or the songs that we would sing in class. Stories and songs opened up something outside of myself that somehow brought meaningfulness inside of me. Throughout my life, I have enjoyed reading novels, short stories, magazines and listening to songs as they all serve as vehicles that deliver stories.

I have always loved to tell stories, write and listen to music. So writing songs presents an interesting challenge for me. I say challenge, because it is my job, as a songwriter to deliver the truth in short form and with attractive and desirable lyrics and melody.

I view the songs that I write as art. My art to be enjoyed by the listener. I do not write songs as an attempt to become famous a world known. The words on a page that are eventually sung from the heart are like the strokes of a brush on canvas. They both allow each and every viewer or listener to form their own interpretation and absorb their own meaning in their own individualistic manner.

It is my hope that the songs I create can bring a meaningful message to anyone who is so happens to come upon them.
